Desktop Tidy is designed to protect your files and privacy.

Information we collect

Desktop Tidy does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information, usage data, file contents, or file names.

Desktop access

The app reviews, classifies, moves, and restores files only inside the Desktop folder you select. All processing happens locally on your Mac.

Information stored on your device

Settings and cleanup history are stored in the app’s private container to provide automatic cleanup and Undo. Nothing is sent to an external server. Removing the app can remove its settings and history; organized files remain on your Desktop.

Third-party services

Desktop Tidy contains no advertising, analytics, tracking technology, or third-party SDKs.

Your control

You can revoke the app’s file access at any time in macOS Privacy & Security settings.
